A day of resistance.

If yesterday was about the pain of genocide then today was about the hope that comes from resistance.  We were back in the capital city today to understand the various forms of resistance that helped this nation to rebuild.  First a morning tour of the city where we saw the remnants of the medieval old city before heading to a museum dedicated to the resistance movement.  The museum was incredibly well done with a ton of immersive experiences.  Coyle enjoyed learning more about Morse code.

We then had the chance to walk around another part of the city and learn more about the genocide that took place there and the people that fought back to defend the city.  The stories of resistance were incredibly inspiring and that spirit is definitely still part of the city today.
We finished up the night with a nice walk in the city square and time for Coyle to add to his collection of ice creams around the world!

Clue for today:  everything old is new again.
